Great Notions copyrights every stock design that we make. Downloading a copy of our designs is actually a receiving of a license to use that design. You own the software media (diskette, etc.) that design is programmed on, not the design or the computer data itself.

 

When Great Notions provides a customer a copy of a design, it is specifically for that customer's use only. The intended use of that design is for embroidery that design on fabric, or a finished garment. No other use of that design is intended under our license to the customer. You may sew the design on the garment and sell the garment for profit. Exceptions apply on our Designer Memory Cards (such as Sesame Street™), see the copyright information listed with the product.

 

Changing, or duplicating any of the designs for resale, transfer or trade to any other party is a violation of Title 17, US Code and other laws. Both criminal and civil remedies are available under the law and we will not hesitate in prosecuting infringers to the full extend of the law.

Im Zweifelsfall erkundigst Du Dich am Besten direkt bei Amazing Designs, dann hast Du eine gesicherte Antwort aus erster Hand.

Im Amazing Katalog (gibbet für ca 4 Euro) steht bei der jeweiligen CD/Karte dabei ob/wie man es weiterverwursteln darf...und vieles darf man!
