Neue Version Embird Build 7

Huhu,

es gibt mal wieder ein Update *gähn* von Embird

Interessant ist diese neue Version wohl vor allem für die Besitzer des X-Stitch-Plugins.

Hallo,

 

ich hab's heute früh auch zufällig mitbekommen und das update sogar schon installiert.

 

Ehrlich gesagt, interessiert mich am meisten ein feature, das es jetzt ermöglichen soll, diejenigen Hoop-it-all-Rahmen, die noch nicht von Embird selber eingefügt wurden, zu erstellen.

 

Ich hoffe, ich kann das nachher auch ausprobieren.

Ich warte noch ein Weilchen, bis sich die Kinderkrankheiten verflüchtigen ... - einige Damen haben berichtet, ihnen fehlen einige 'Tabs' in dieser Version.

EMBIRD - WHAT'S NEW ?

Version 2004 Build 7

MANAGER

=======

 

- In Manager you can predefine six folders - those you use frequently,

and the new speed buttons allow you to switch among these folders

quickly. You will find the new buttons at the Right panel above the

"Folder:" box.

 

- New thread chart added: Swist

 

- Support for new format added: Janome MC11000 .JEF+

 

- The thread numbers are printed in "Detail Documentation".

 

CROSS STITCH

============

 

- The compilation algorithm in Cross Stitch plug-in was revised, now

it runs quicker and creates nicer stitches and less jumps in outlines.

 

- Now you can create crosses with individual setting of "Layers"

(strands of thread) parameter for each one. Before you put the regular,

mini, horizontal or vertical cross on the work area you can prescribe

its "Layer" parameter at the right side of the screen in the

corresponding control (regular, mini, horizontal and vertical layers).

 

- New commands added to "Edit" menu for changing the setting of cross

layers parameter in selected area:

 

* Set Cross Layers

* Set Mini Cross Layers

* Set Horizontal Cross Layers

* Set Vertical Cross Layers

 

- Now you can create French knots with different settings for each one,

both thickness & diameter. Before you put the French knot on the work

area you can prescribe its settings at the right side of the screen.

 

- New commands added to "Edit" menu for changing French Knot settings

in selected area:

 

* Set French Knot Diameter

* Set French Knot Thickness

 

- New "Tools" allows you to change the settings of French knots which are

located on work area:

 

* Get French Knot Diameter

* Set French Knot Diameter

* Get French Knot Thickness

* Set French Knot Thickness

 

- New commands added to "File" menu:

 

* Print Template

* Print Template without Texts

* Print Preview

* Print Setup

 

- Now you can give a name to your cross stitch design (or some comment,

e.g. the magazine and the issue number which was used for creating the

design). Use "Design Name" command in "File" menu.

 

- Now you can insert text from Font Engine plug-in into Cross Stitch work

area! You will find the new command "Font Engine Text" in "Insert" menu.

 

- New "Keep Pattern Layers" setting added. This setting determines whether

the number of layers is kept or not in the fill pattern. This affects

the layer settings of regular, horizontal, vertical and mini crosses, as

well as back stitch lines. It has meaning only for patterns with different

 

layer settings. In case the layer settings are kept, the Cross Stitch will

 

ignore the currently selected layer setting, and it will use the layer

settings defined in the pattern. In case this setting is off, Cross Stitch

 

will replace all layer settings in pattern with currently selected layer

settings.
